STAFF
Teamwork, structure
and process define the staff approach at Nevins & Associates.
Our founder, David H. Nevins, started the agency in 1983. He brings
with him over 20 years experience in the field of marketing and public
relations.
David currently serves on the Board of Regents for the University
System of Maryland, a position appointed by the state’s Governor.
He has also served as the Chairman of Maryland Public Television,
Chairman of the Maryland Higher Education Loan Corporation and is
a former columnist with the Baltimore Business Journal. He is involved
in a variety of civic and community organizations. Having served as
President of the Jewish National Fund, he is currently on the board
of directors of numerous other organizations, including the Port Discovery
Children’s Museum, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Sterling Bank
& Trust and the Baltimore County Revenue Authority.
David has a BS in Business from Towson State University and a MS in
Administration from Johns Hopkins University and has served on the
faculty of Johns Hopkins University, University of Maryland, and Towson
State University. He has taught classes in the areas of marketing,
public relations, advertising, management, and fundraising.
Together, he and his staff of individuals bring a diverse and varied
background in the public relations field and have achieved great successes
for a number of clients over the years. Together, Nevins & Associates
employees have nearly 60 years of experience in the public relations
industry. Nevins & Associates’ staff is the firm’s greatest
resource. Their commitment to excellence and the courage to go for
the "big idea" is the cornerstone of the agency’s success.
